Come to
Boise Peak Fitness to celebrate your child's birthday or other events, it will be an event they
will never forget!
Cost is $13/child (no minimum) and cost for belaying, pricing details below
There are two ways
to throw a party:

Learn to manage
the ropes for your kids - Want to bring a small group of children?
You can learn how to manage the ropes for them. This is easier than
you think.
You will need to take our parent belay lesson (unless you are already
certified in the gym). You can take this parent belay lesson at the start of
the scheduled birthday party - we strive to make this
very easy for you to do. In a
belay lesson you will learn how to tie the knot (figure-eight on the harness), the proper safety checks and
how to manage the rope for the children climbing (belay). The belay device is an
auto-locking device, which makes it even easier to use and learn, and is
very safe for your child (We are the only climbing gym in Idaho to use
auto-locking devices on our ropes). Once certified to belay in our gym you can
belay for your kids for the party and during any "open time climbing" in the future:
You and your child will have fun together (see gym hours).
The cost for the lesson is $10 for every adult
learning to belay (maximum $20 for each party). The cost for kids climbing is $13 per child (over
the age of eight) or $12 if eight or under (this includes gear rental - climbing
shoes and harness). Belayer harness rental is $3.
A party room with tables is
available for up to an hour after the climbing sessions if you want to bring
decorations, food and gifts, or if you just need a place to sit and relax
after climbing (the cost for the party room is $30).
Note: if you are a
certified climber (meaning you already know how to tie-in and belay with
proper technique) then all you need to do is get a "belay check" by one of
our staff. There is only a $2.00 charge and you receive a belay
certification card from us. Once certified to belay in the gym (which
our belay class does for you), you can come belay during any "open time"
climbing with your kids (see gym hours).

Boise Peak
Fitness manages the ropes party - A one and a half hour session
with our staff working the ropes for your children. you can just sit
back and relax or take pictures/watch your child climb. The Cost is $30 per
instructor (belayer) and the cost per child is the same at $12 per child, under the age of eight or $13 if over eight
(this includes gear) - we recommend
one instructor per 3 children, maximum is 5 children per instructor. A party
room with tables is available for up to an hour after the climbing sessions
if you want to bring decorations, food and gifts, or if you just need a
place to sit and relax after climbing (the cost for the party room is $30). Please call for reservations.
IMPORTANT:
Please be sure that all children have a completed Waiver
signed by their PARENT or legal guardian.
